Frequently Asked Questions
1. What are OZ (EOC) Collets used for?
OZ (also known as EOC) Collets are used for holding cutting tools in CNC milling, drilling, and boring operations. They are known for a strong gripping force and good vibration control. As an OZ (EOC) Collet supplier in USA, PAC Precision Tools provides reliable collets for demanding CNC applications.
2. How do OZ Collets compare with TG or ER collets in vibration absorption?
OZ Collets offer better vibration absorption than standard ER collets and perform similarly to TG collets in heavy-duty applications. Their design provides stable tool holding, which helps reduce chatter and improves surface finish during machining.
3. What innovations in OZ Collets improve coolant penetration during drilling?
Modern OZ Collets are designed with optimized slot geometry that allows better coolant flow toward the cutting edge. This improves cooling, chip evacuation, and drilling performance, especially in deep-hole and continuous drilling operations.
